Back from Japan.

Things at the shop have been full speed with new metal coming in every day and half of us traveling the globe. Here's a recap of what's been going on outside of Brooklyn.

BMW Superfan Number one walks fast, evidently:

JAHN PRORRY...gets blogsupn.

Kym P. wondering why everyone starts inching backwards after her fifth Sake Bomb:

More pictures are popping up by the hour, like this one we stole from INCASE, of friends, bikes , and general Japanese mayhem.
(Yes, that's our new fancy prototype fixed frame)

Feel free to share, incriminating photos of Joe and Austin can be sent to BMW@Brooklynmachineworks.com.

Crappy Pictures: Good Fun.

Summer temps have been churning on here in NY so while the Tokyo crew prepared to hit Vegas, the rest of us here in Brooklyn decided to take an impromptu lunch break at the dirt jumps in Cunningham Park.

We still made it back to the shop in time to eat and answer calls. Whether you've been dumped by a hedge fund or worked the cheese counter at Whole Foods , go burn off some steam on two wheels and relax a bit. Money comes and goes but chill NE days spent riding with friends are priceless.
Check out NYCMTB, C.L.I.M.B, or IMBA to get involved wherever you are.
Peace.

Tomorrow is main race qualifiers with the big rush going down on Wednesday. We'll keep you posted.

Kampai.

Busy busy BUSY! We finally got Joe and Austin out the door and on the plane to Tokyo for the CMWC's and Interbike.

Austin is feeling good about racing overseas on his Gangsta Track.

Joe is loaded down with boxes of prototype hardware and new softgoods that we have lined up for the 2010 season. For those of you that can't make it to Japan or Nevada, check back here for updates on the big news from the shop.

For those of you that are already heading to Japan: Have a blast! Give Joe and Austin our best and have a great time racing.

Ruskie.

As the summer winds down, each month we'll be offering a small run of softgoods and accessories until next season's full line release. For fall, we're finally offering the first cycling cap since last year's Crooklyn, the simple Logo hat, available in Black and Brown.
We had them made with a 100% cotton four-panel dome with a stretchy, but sweat-wicking inner liner. This year we have a custom mini visor made from plastic (not fiberboard, like some others) to keep everything long lasting and stink free for years and years of wear. They're just enough to keep the sun out of your eyes and won't flop around in the wind or under a helmet. It's a lot of work to put into a little hat, but we're into the details.

(Thanks for the head, Ruskie!)

Of course, they are 100% U.S. made, so you'll be supporting American manufacturing all over while reppin' your favorite bourough in style.

-They cost $20-
($5 flat rate postage in the continental US)

Limited quantities available in both colors. We'll have them in the soon-to-come webstore, until them you can call or Email the shop to put in your order.

The Streets Are Watching.

Anson Wellington sent us this summer edit of some street sessions on his sold-out ACL 24" frame.Anson has been hard at work riding and working around life as a father, check out his latest profile in the latest issue of Mountainbike magazine.

Another NYC throwdown caught on vid was of a scumbag bike-thief getting caught in the act.
