This one's for Koji.

As a part of our 09' site revamp, we're also rolling out with a few new pieces of gear and clothing, like the new Pit Tee which, like many good things in life, is available in black on black and black on white prints.

They're available in Small/Med/Large in American Apparel cuts, and XL in an Anvil heavy duty Tees. Best of all, each shirt is printed by hand right here in the borough of Brooklyn so each purchase goes to support a local business/artist.

Check out Darren's kind face as he wears his around the shop and gets gnarly on the sidewalk.

It's a limited run for now but call the shop or Email us to check for size and color availability or to let us know if there is a Tee design you want the shop to make. Check back here for what we whip up.

Can't complain about the rain.

Despite weeks of rainy weather, a bunch of crazy bike shiz has been going down in NYC and we'll post up as it comes in. Check out Yoni's cut of the Thrashbike Jam:

And while it's easy to complain about a little bit of weak weather busting our ride plans, at least we're not as busted as our friends and family as of late. Our right hand man Peter took a spill in his hometown in the Carolinas and joins the ranks of people who have a bit of explaining to do when they pass through metal detectors:

Eat a ton of ice cream and heal up fast, Peter!

Ged Got Fingered.

We don't understand fully how it happened, but people are wildin' out over there in England and somehow our distributor in the UK ended up losing his fingertip.

Heal up, Ged! Brooklyn's offering huge rewards to anyone that succesfully finds and retrieves the nub.

Double Pounder.

All weekend we've been trying to figure out what smelled like a giant drowned rat here inside the shop.

It turned out to be a giant drowned rat.

Crikey. Things are back to normal and the shop smells like roses again.

Ya Heard!?

Rain or shine. Get your ride on.

THE REAL BIG APPLE

If you like the big apple then its time to pedal out to Sheepshead Bay for the Big Apple turn over.

The choice was tough, but this is the one that spoke to me. This is a whole cored apple that is wrapped in pie crust and baked as pie-turnover. Worth the ride, just pedal out to the end of Ocean Parkway hang a left on Brighton beach Ave. till you hit 12th street. This place is an old school Russian bakery that has an over the top selection.

Yo, BKLYN fans. Thanks for checking out the new site and bearing with us as we get it up and running. We're still working on it to make it less daffy than the old one, so until we're at 100% some features will be under construction.
In the meanwhile you can call in your orders as usual. Check back for new content and updates as we add them. Email bmw@brooklynmachineworks.com for errors, comments, suggestions, or to share your best "yo momma so fat" joke.

Outside the office things have been cooking with downhill season in full swing, new truckloads of tubing being dropped off for your orders, rides to Coney Island, and people getting rad on their Brooklyns:
